People, nature and the environment
have top priority

As part of the regional planning procedure and the planning approval procedure, the EUGAL project will undergo two environmental impact assessments with different degrees of detail. Protecting people, nature and the environment has top priority for us and weexamine such aspects with sensitivity.

Temporary impact on nature and the environment

Construction of gas pipelines always entails a temporary impact on nature and the landscape. That includesnoise, dust formation and exhaust gas emissions, which vary depending on the work in question and usually occur where work is currently being carried out along the pipeline route. After recultivation and rehabilitation is finished, the route can hardly be noticed in the countryside. Extensive measures compensate for the temporary effects during the construction phase, as well as the impact of new operating facilities (such as shut-off stations).
